Water Leak Detector (with box and manual) Detects water leaks in kitchens, bathrooms, washrooms, etc. An alarm sounds when water touches the sensor. My mother's home is barrier-free, so I placed one of these to prevent the bathwater from overflowing and flooding the dressing room/washroom. I tested it by wetting my finger and touching the sensor, and it detected the water and emitted a very loud alarm. My mother, who is hard of hearing, can also notice it, so I feel at ease. I bought two, but one is sufficient, so I am selling this one. It has been opened for photography but is unused. The insulation sheet with PULL written on it is still inserted. Therefore, please understand that I cannot perform an operational check. Before using this product, please gently pull out the insulation sheet. Do not pull forcefully. The following is information from the sales site: ? Sound and Light Alarm - If water leaks in places like the kitchen or bathroom, the water sensor detects the water and displays a real-time sound and light alarm to notify you immediately. ? Working Principle - The bottom of the sensor has four highly sensitive gold-plated probes that trigger the alarm. When two of the four detection electrodes detect water, the water detector will sound an alarm. The device's red light will flash, and a bip bip sound will be heard. ? Waterproof - When leaked water fills the detector, it floats. The fully sealed waterproof housing means you don't have to worry about water leaks affecting the internal electronic components. Dry off any water stains to stop the alarm. ? Widely Used - For sink leaks, central A/C leaks, washing machine hose leaks, water heater leaks, and leaked hot water recirculation pumps, and other moisture-prone areas. ? Easy to Use and Reusable - Use flexibly without wiring. Before using this product, gently pull out the insulation sheet and place it where needed. Depending on battery life, one PC can be used for one year under normal conditions. Replace the battery when the alarm sound becomes slow. To replace the battery, loosen the fixing screw on the bottom of the device.
