Red Sandalwood For Mini Bonsai - B-57 This is one seedling of Red Sandalwood for mini bonsai. It was propagated by cuttings around Autumn 2022, rooted in Spring of the following year, and then transplanted into a plastic pot. Small flower buds are currently visible. Small pink flowers have begun to bloom. And in autumn, it should bear lovely red berries (if it grows well), but this cannot be guaranteed. The seedling you purchase will be shipped in a food pack, with the pot covered in sphagnum moss to prevent the seedling from drying out. The seedling is planted in a small pot using a mix of Akadama soil, Kiryu sand, or Ezo sand, so it should drain well. However, if the roots have circled the bottom, you may repot it at your own risk. For some seedlings, the blackish substance on the soil surface or around the roots is fertilizer residue. If this concerns you, please gently remove it without damaging the trunk. Seedlings are generally shipped via the 4th Class Mail (non-insured). The 4th Class Mail does not cover guarantees for wilting, delivery accidents, or specified delivery dates. Please be aware if you are often absent. Also, as the 4th Class Mail takes more than 3 days, please understand that if you purchase between Thursday and Saturday, it may take up to 5-6 days depending on your region.
